McLoughlin Landscapes LLC is a family owned and operated business based in Stamford, CT. We have been providing residents and companies of Fairfield and Westchester counties with professional landscaping services since 1975.

For fifty years we have established ourselves as a company with a solid reputation, providing our clients with customized quality care. Our staff attends regular training classes ensuring a safe and professional work environment.

We are licensed with the states of Connecticut and New York as well as the Department of Environmental Protection to treat all trees, shrubs and turf. We are a licensed Home Improvement Contractor by the Department of Consumer Protection.

JIM MCLOUGHLIN

Founder

Jim founded McLoughlin Landscapes in 1975 after gaining the experience and love of the outdoors as a member of the golf course grounds crew at Weeburn Country Club in Darien, Connecticut.

With a strong desire for entrepreneurship and a love for horticulture and landscape design, Jim ventured out on his own with little more than a pick-up truck and a lawn-mower. Through his hard work and determination, Jim built the business from what started out as a one man operation into a highly profitable landscape design, build and maintenance company.

Jim’s impeccable business sense, his friendly demeanor towards his clients, employees and suppliers and his desire to provide the highest care in all phases of landscape management has given McLoughlin Landscapes a deserving reputation of dependability and professionalism.

JAMES MCLOUGHLIN

Owner and Lead Designer

James has been in the landscape design-build industry for over thirty years and provides a wealth of knowledge and passion in his field. He is certified by the New York Botanical Garden as a Landscape Designer.

James has also completed the New York Botanical Garden’s Gardening Program and holds a certification in Gardening. He regularly attends classes and seminars on landscape design and theory.

Additionally, James holds both an Arborist and a Turf and Ornamental Supervisory license from the State of Connecticut. He is also a NOFA certified organic landcare professional and an active member of the Westport Tree Board.
